Before we jump on a bandwagon of LEGALIZATION!!!! (which is annoying by the way), think of certain things. would your weed change? where would you get it from because certainly a new ‘taxable’ item would still be illegal to sell privately. There are, indeed, pros and cons to such an event but here are some cons I thought of. (I’m not putting down stoners in any way, I smoke atleast 4 times a day)
I do believe (some) dispensaries try to aim towards medical needs so their weed is kick ass but still only for medical patients. I think weed would get shitty. like they would break it down and add all types of bad shit to it, even maybe nicotine to make you addicted. definitely an age limit, most likely 21. and you’d be written in a book how much you weed you buy and it would be monitored. like when people buy sudafed. its all tracked and all bullshit to me. and yes the dealer would be fucked and dens it would be choas OR they would sell more hardcore drugs so people would have more access to meth, heroine, coke, pills.. which would be bad I don’t want my possible future kids thinking coke is ok because everyone does it since no one wants to smoke weed anymore.
just a high rant for anyone who cares.
